Instructor / Joseph Vidich
I am an architectural designer and educator based in New York City. I am partner and founder of Kin & Company, LLC, an architectural design, fabrication and consultancy practice in Brooklyn, NY. I am currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation where I teach an advanced course in digital fabrication and representation. I am also an Adjunct Lecturer at City University of New York, College of Technology where I teach a 3rd year studio course focusing on design development, construction drawings and digital fabrication. I have worked professionally for Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects and Weiss/Manfredi Architects. I have consulted for numerous artists, architects and designers including Keith Kaseman of KBAS Studio, Linnaea Tillett of Tillett lighting, and David Benjamin of The Living. I hold a Masters of Architecture degree from Columbia University and a Bachelors of Art degree from Wesleyan University. My professional work has been exhibited at the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Museum of the City of New York, The Center for Architecture in New York City, the Arthur Ross Architecture Gallery at Columbia University and collected privately.
